Redness & Vascular Laser · Boyd & Wise County, TXCalm the Red.
Targeted laser energy reduces rosacea, broken capillaries, and diffuse facial redness — restoring a calm, even complexion with little to no downtime.
Clearer Skin Starts Here
Visible redness, broken capillaries, and rosacea can be frustrating to manage with skincare alone. Our vascular laser treatments use precise wavelengths of light to selectively target and collapse unwanted blood vessels beneath the skin — without damaging the surrounding tissue. The result is a noticeably calmer, more even complexion over a series of treatments.
Clients come to our Boyd, Texas med spa from Decatur, Rhome, Bridgeport, Paradise and across Wise County, plus Haslet, Justin and Northlake in northwest Fort Worth.

Advanced Laser Platform
The Technology
We use the Motus laser platform for vascular treatments — a system built around in-motion delivery that allows the laser energy to be applied evenly across the treatment area with consistent, controlled results. The laser targets oxyhemoglobin in the blood vessels, causing them to collapse and be naturally reabsorbed by the body. Because the energy is delivered in motion rather than in static pulses, treatments are more comfortable and cover larger areas efficiently. The Motus platform is safe for a wide range of skin tones and is particularly well-suited for treating diffuse redness and rosacea across the full face.

Questions & Answers
How many treatments will I need?
Most clients see meaningful improvement in 2 to 4 sessions, spaced 4 to 6 weeks apart. Rosacea and diffuse redness typically require more sessions than isolated broken capillaries. Your provider will build a personalized plan at your consultation.
Does the treatment hurt?
Most clients describe the sensation as a mild warmth or a light snapping feeling. The in-motion delivery of the Motus system makes treatments significantly more comfortable than traditional static-pulse lasers. A topical numbing cream can be applied if needed.
What does the skin look like immediately after?
Some redness and mild swelling in the treated area is normal and typically resolves within a few hours to a day. Treated capillaries may appear darker or slightly bruised before fading over the following 1 to 2 weeks.
Is there any downtime?
Most clients return to normal activities the same day. We recommend avoiding intense heat — saunas, hot yoga, strenuous exercise — for 24 to 48 hours after treatment, and applying SPF diligently.
Will my rosacea come back?
Laser treatment significantly reduces redness and visible vessels, but rosacea is a chronic condition. Maintenance sessions once or twice a year help sustain results. Avoiding known triggers — sun, heat, alcohol, spicy foods — also helps prolong outcomes.
Is this treatment safe for darker skin tones?
The Motus laser platform is designed to be safe across a broad range of skin tones. Your provider will assess your Fitzpatrick skin type at your consultation and adjust settings accordingly to ensure a safe and effective treatment.
Can I combine this with other treatments?
Yes. Vascular treatments pair well with other laser modalities and skin rejuvenation services. Your provider can recommend a combination approach based on your skin goals.
What causes facial redness and broken capillaries?
Common causes include rosacea, sun damage, genetics, heat and alcohol. Over time small blood vessels near the surface widen and become visible — which laser energy can target and fade.
Can laser remove broken capillaries around my nose?
Yes. Broken capillaries on the nose and cheeks are one of the most common areas we treat. Many clients see visible vessels fade within 1 to 2 weeks of a session.

Active skin infections, open wounds, or inflammatory conditions in the treatment area must be fully resolved before proceeding. Please inform your provider of any active flare-ups.

Certain medications — including blood thinners, photosensitizing drugs, and some antibiotics — may affect your candidacy or require a waiting period. Disclose all current medications at your consultation.
Pregnancy
Laser treatments are not recommended during pregnancy or while breastfeeding. Please let your provider know if there is any possibility of pregnancy.
